The Birth of the Khalsa is slated to be used for the cover of Punjab Today’s upcoming 2008 Vaisakhi issue. 

Sikhnet will soon be launching a brand new version of their popular site and Kanwar will be contributing a series of specially commissioned paintings for it.  It is an exiting opportunity for the artist to contribute to Sikhnet’s ongoing mission to connect the worldwide Sikh community and promoting Sikhism’s values and heritage.

There are tentative plans for Kanwar Singh to illustrate a children’s book based on the life of Guru Gobind Singh being produced by Hemkunt Publisher’s of New Delhi.

A 2009 Art of Punjab Calendar featuring 12 illustrations by Kanwar Singh is slated for release in Fall of 2008.
